Working together
for an inclusive Europe
The Norwegian Funds have for years supported initiatives aimed at facilitating young people's access to employment. Despite significant progress in this regard, a significant proportion of young people still remain excluded from both the education system and the labour market. This is especially true for women aged 24 to 29 living in rural areas and small towns.
Young women with difficulties in finding their way in the labour market and in society require a variety of support.
In addition to help in returning to education and finding employment, they need skills to overcome barriers, self-confidence and motivation, i.e. both professional and psychological counselling.
